solid hides have virtually no markings at all and most, especially the very pale or darker tones, are also fairly monochromatic, creating a plain-hued, uniform palette that is by no means boring — the light playing off the surface makes it glow with a nacreous lustre. where there's a bit more variation in the tonal range — as with the mid-hued colours such as beiges, tans, dark ivories & the lighter browns — the effect is rather more of a random scattering of colour across the surface of the rug
the uni-dom rug-layout is fashioned from either the mosaic , petite croix, pixel or jumble stitch-designs
