Q: can the designs be calculated in square feet rather than in square meters?
A: as the individual component pieces all have metric measurements — and these then go into making the whole — all dimensions must ultimately be calculated in millimetres & square meters
Q: can the metric measurement be converted to imperial?
A: yes, there are simple formulas, but a request for a rug measuring, say, 6 feet by 9 feet will still only be as close as possible, in this case 1800mm by 2700mm, which translates to approximately 5’103/4” by 8’101/4”
Q: what are these formulas?
A: in calculating length, there are 25.4 millimetres to 1 inch; for area calculations, 1 square meter equals 10.764 square feet
